Passion in the landscape. German Bibliography
by Johannes Andresen, Amilcare Barbero, Guido Gentile
Bi-lingual Italian - German Edition

Ponzano Monferrato (AL) 2007
ISBN 978-88-89081-09-9
pp. 157, Publications not for sale*

PublicationsThis volume contains a vast bibliographical repertory on the Sacred Mounts, Calvaries and Devotional Complexes of the German-speaking countries; it is the fruit of ten years of work of the researcher Harald Quietzsch. The references he has collected have been uniformed and ordered by specialised personnel of the Associazione delle Biblioteche Altotesine, coordinated by Johannes Andresen.
The book was realised by the Documentation Centre of the European Sacred Mounts, Calvaries and Devotional Complexes, in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Turin and the Associazione delle Biblioteche Altotesine.
There are 1,650 titles of important publications that were found and inserted in the bibliography “Passion in der Landschaft”. The publications listed in the bibliography regard principally the German language context and the ancient German-speaking territory, or they are German-language  titles that have been published on the subject.
With this book, the Documentation Centre has started up a new editorial collection,  that wants to publish the bibliography of studies regarding the European Devotional Complexes, including, in this category, all the Sacred Mounts and the Calvary Mounts built in Europe, both those that still exist and those that have been destroyed.

* Publications not for sale can be requested from the Documentation Centre of the European Sacred Mounts, Calvaries and Devotional Complexes.
